What a finished plan looks like
This is the most common Antarctica trip: an 11-day round trip from Ushuaia, Argentina, crossing the Drake Passage both ways.
Your itinerary follows the same format, but built around your dates, budget and must-sees. Want South Georgia, the Antarctic Circle or a fly-cruise instead? Say so in the form.
- Landings change daily with weather and ice
- Guides choose sites on the day
- Most voyages offer 1–2 landings or Zodiac cruises a day
| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Board in Ushuaia and sail down the Beagle Channel |
| Days 2–3 | Cross the Drake Passage: lectures, seabirds, first icebergs |
| Day 4 | South Shetland Islands, including Deception Island |
| Days 5–8 | Antarctic Peninsula: Paradise Harbor, Lemaire Channel, Neko Harbor and penguin colonies |
| Days 9–10 | Cross the Drake Passage north |
| Day 11 | Disembark in Ushuaia |

Built by a specialist, not a booking engine
Like most travel agents, we're paid by the cruise operator when you book. If you don't book, you still keep the itinerary.
Independent comparisons
We look across multiple expedition operators, not just one company's fleet.
A real person reads your answers
No generic template. Your priorities decide the route, ship and month.
Honest about trade-offs
Sail vs. fly the Drake, big ship vs. small, peak season vs. shoulder. We'll tell you what you gain and give up.
No pressure
One email with your plan. Reply if you want changes or help booking. Otherwise, that's it.
Itinerary generator FAQ
Is the itinerary really free?
Yes. There's no fee and no obligation to book. If you do book through us, the cruise operator pays our commission.
How long does it take to get my itinerary?
Usually within 2 business days. Complex trips, such as Ross Sea voyages or big family groups, can take a little longer.
Is this automated?
No. The form collects your details, and an Antarctica specialist builds the itinerary by hand using current departures and prices.
What if I don't know my dates or budget yet?
Choose "flexible" or "not sure". We'll show you how the options change by month and price range so you can decide.
Can I change the itinerary after I get it?
Of course. Reply to the email with what you'd like changed and we'll send an updated version.
When is the Antarctica season?
Cruises run from late October to March. November is for pristine snow and courting penguins, December and January for chicks and the longest days, and February and March for whales.
